TA Office Hours

I'm planning to hold my office hours on Wednesdays from 3:30pm - 4:30pm in 557AD right outside the CSE main office on the fifth floor.

If you have any questions feel free come see me or send me a mail at garrett.wolf@asu.edu

If you cannot make it during office hours, let me know and we can schedule a separate time where we can meet.

Homework 1

As Dr. Kambhampati mentioned in yesterday's class, the first homework assignment has been posted on the course website

http://rakaposhi.eas.asu.edu/cse494/home-work.html

You are strongly encouraged to begin working on the homework as soon as it is made available. I urge you to check back regularly as additional questions are often added to the assignment periodically.

You may have noticed the "Socket Open" label next to the assignment this indicates the date on which the assignment was made available. You will be given some time to work on the assignment after which the socket will be closed and a due date will be announced. Generally the assignments will be due approximately a week after the socket has been closed.

If you have any questions feel free come see me during my office hours

(Wed 3:30pm - 4:30pm in 557AD)

or send me a mail at

garrett.wolf@asu.edu

If you cannot make it during office hours, let me know and we can schedule a separate time where we can meet.

Lecture audio link should work now..

Welcome to CSE494/598 Class Mailing List

Dear all:

If you get this, it means that you are registered for CSE494/598 Information Retrieval/MIning/Integration course.
I will use this mailing list to send announcements etc to the class.

All the mails sent to this list will be automatically archived into the class mail archive, and posted to the class blog. Links to both are available from the class page http://rakaposhi.eas.asu.edu/cse494

Speaking of class blog, you should have got an email inviting you to the blog (actually I notice that about 5 of you already registered--way to go!). The blog is where you can post class related questions/comments and also discuss any things I invite you to discuss on the blog. You have wide latitude in using the blog!

(If you are one of those who registered but missed the first class, note that the slides and audio of the lecture are available from the home page).

regards
Rao
